All were taken today. The clouds were so puffy!
Kodak. We all wonder how long this building will stand. So sad how this company is fading away.

Diet Eman, Things We couldn't Say
I was Googling for a transcript and stumbled upon a book from a blog...

I am very interested in Corrie ten Boom, so got this from the library.
Finished it last night and it is an incredible book! If you are a WWII
history buff, this is a great one!
I wanted to share.

Abby got her My Twinn doll....
Back in April, Abby asked for an American Girl doll. I explained they are VERY expensive and require MUCH care, as they are very expensive. "Maybe we will ask Santa when you are in third grade." And left it at that. She continued looking at the American Girl catalog until it was falling apart and dreaming of the doll, lol. So then I gave her Brother Danny's old job of rinsing/returning cans. She could save the money from that to buy her doll.
She LOVED that idea!!! So we started saving. She came across another catalog in summer for My Twinn dolls and decided she wanted one of these first. Same rules applied: Save can money. She has worn BOTH catalogs out, lol, but had saved a little over $60 so far.
I 'happened' to go to the My Twinn website for the 'first' time on Monday, low and behold they were having 40% off and they were $59.99...with the sale ending that NIGHT! I thought that was pretty cool I happened to go there! We immediately sat down and went thru the dolls and she chose the one she wanted. It arrived today! She was SO excited! I think it is kind of 'nice' since she does not have a sister. She built a bed out of a cardboard box for it also. Gillian is her name. I think Abby chose well.

My nephew, Trevor
I have been able to 'meet' my nephew this month. It is the first time I have really 'talked' with him and he is such a wonderful young man! I was trying to 'capture' him and his love for playing. And to also capture the beauty of his two guitars he had with him. I thank him for this 'time' he has shared with me. It was really cool.

Allegany State Park
Went for a week. Wanted to share some pictures. Will put more up, but this is a hawk we saw close-up in the lobby of the Admin building, for a talk...not flying free, lol. They had a few owls and falcons too. A raptor talk. I love this park! It has SO much to do there....many guided hikes and talks. Is very beautiful and the cabins are awesome! Those are Osprey in the nest at the top of the wire pole. A baby is in the nest.
